STOCKHOLM / DALLAS — DreamHack Dallas, the three-day, immersive gaming lifestyle festival, has concluded with 33,000 in total attendance from 50 states (plus D.C.) and 29 countries over three-day festival weekend, June 3-5, 2022, at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center. The weekend, featuring everything gaming under one roof, marked the first full-scale, global DreamHack festival in nearly 2.5 years. The event opened on Friday with a Mayoral Proclamation naming the day “DreamHack Day” in the city of Dallas to honor the occasion, and continued with festival-goers admiring cosplay costumes, participating in tournaments, watching pros compete, learning to stream, testing technology at the Expo, attending panels, and much more.

“It was just a tremendous experience to finally be back with a live, in-person event. You could feel the excitement in the air all weekend,” said Shahin Zarrabi, VP of Strategy & Growth for DreamHack. “Congratulations to everyone who participated in a tournament this weekend, whether it was amateur, collegiate or professional; thank you to all of our partners and sponsors; and we have to give a special shout out to the Dallas community for welcoming us back and being a part of this festival weekend.”
